Group Candle Making Experience - Thursday 24th September 7-9pm @ Hampshire Wick Studio

Join us at the Hampshire Wick studio in Park Gate for an intimate and inspiring candle‑making experience designed for small groups of up to six participants. Your session begins with a warm welcome and a complimentary drink, setting the tone for a relaxed, creative and memorable time together.  This workshop will give you the chance to create a luxury scented soy wax candle worth £19.50.

You’ll embark on a captivating journey into the art of candle making, learning the fundamentals of the craft—from different waxes and wicks to the fragrances used across the industry. Your workshop host will guide you through an immersive fragrance exploration, where you’ll discover six unique scents, identify their fragrance notes, and learn how different profiles pair beautifully using the Hampshire Wick fragrance wheel.

Once you’ve chosen a fragrance you love, you’ll be guided step‑by‑step as you blend and pour your own luxury candle using our tried‑and‑tested methods. You’ll follow the process from molten wax to finished candle, watching your creation take shape and ensuring it’s crafted to the same high standard as those made in‑house. Along the way, we’ll share helpful tips, tricks, and our in‑depth candle care knowledge.

Please note that your candle requires 24 hours to fully cure. You’re welcome to return to the studio to collect your finished candle, or we can post it directly to you for convenience (additional postage cost applies).

Our group experiences typically last between 1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the number of participants, just the right amount of time to learn, create, and enjoy a unique experience together. 

All equipment, materials and PPE will be provided.
